Hi

Modena is coming! And actually I have 3 miniatures:
-Diorama (finished, my best model for this year imho)
-whfb single miniature (a fast painted drycha, one day )
-lotr single miniature (some pics are down here)

And still a wip..
But actually, I start to paint this (I like it a lot!!!) bust!
I gave him the name "Hermlin". Why?
It's a fusion between Hamlin, the rat piper and Merlin, the most powerful mage in history :D


Why this name?

Hi again!
How are you? Hope fine!
This Sunday there's Italian Golden Demon.... I'm so excited about it!
I will bring with me:
- my girlfriend
- a chocolate cake for all the friends (40!!!)
-skink diorama
- isda entry
- a dryad made in one day, just for fun ^^

I want to give you a prewiew pics for the finished bust.... I don't tell you anything now about my interpretation about the story, but I like to read what do you think ^^

That's a really interesting couple, you're painting.
I have to admit, that I liked the worm-thing more before it became that glossy.
Apart of that it's really great, a wierd eye-catcher.

My interpretation of the story, is, that this worm-thing usually devoures everything, that's a) alive and b) blessed with some sort of intelligence, but in this case it couldn't, because the frequency of that accordion gives it a kind of inner peace - while devouring everything that's alive and intelligent.
So the two of them became bound together.
First, the little guy only saved his own live by playing, but after a while, he got some influence on the acting of his "steed" and so he developed his own kind of madness and became obsessed by the power.
I'd call them "Thelma and Louise".

I can tell you my vision of the story:

So far from here, there's a desert planet where is played a fighting game between monster controlled by a magician (maybe like hamlin, with a flute! or, in this case, with an accordion).
In the back of the monster, on the shirt, there's a number and an icon... like sport team

After the fight the winner stand up for some photos with his coach :D

Ciao Fausto. Complimenti per la riuscita del busto. Anche questo come altri tuoi lavori sono unici. L'idea stessa che ai adoperato e unica. Io stesso non sarei mai arrivato ad una interpretazione del genere. La colorazione e proprio mano tua…. Unica e riconoscibile. Bravo.
