What's up folks
Today i reviewing some Games & Gears Brushes for you.
The first part is about the Ichiban Studio Pro Line Set and the second part about the Ichiban Synthetics Set.
G & G Ichiban Studio Pro Line Set
The Pro Line Set contains all 4 available sizes of the Pro Line series (00,0,1,2,) and a useful leather brush case.
The case is in very good quality and is very handy to store away the brushes.
The design of the brushes is unique and quite cool in my mind.
But it makes also sense if you travel a lot with your brushes or if you're workspace is like mine most of the time a big mess.
I'm quite happy with the possibility to protect my brush tip without keeping an eye on the little plastic things that always get lost :D
I use them now quite a while and the caps still fits perfectly and get not lose. And I cap and decap them very often :D
Also there is a little hole in the cap so it doesn't matter if your brush is still slightly moist when cap it.
They need in my opinion a bit of practice to handle right because of the thickness and higher Weight. If you used for example like me some winsor & Newton's before you will notice the difference! But I like the weight in my hand while painting. Sometimes normal brush are a little bit too light for me somehow.
But now to the most important and most interesting part of every Brush! The tip!
The bristle is out of high quality red sable hair. Easy to control and and enough volume to store enough paint.
I really really recommend you to NOT use real hair brushes with metallic paints! Because the mica I the metallic paints will literally eat your brushes bristles and damage it! I would recommend to always only use synthetic brushes!
But now I want show you how good my brushes are still in shape and don't forget I already paint for at least 3 months daily for several hours almost only with these beauties.

My conclusion to the Ichiban Pro Line Set
I'm more than happy with them. Nothing I can complain about.
As long as you take good care about your brushes (I recommend the daily use brush soap!) you will have fun with them a long time!
The overall quality of the set is real good and I think the set is worth its price.
For example for 4 winsor & newton brushes in same sizes you will have to pay a lot more! and this are only the brushes no case included.
So for every one of you who is on the search for a real good pair of brushes for a real fair price this might be interesting you!
G&G Ichiban Synthetic set
The Ichiban Synthetic set includes just the all 3 available synthetic sizes (1,2,3). But you can of course buy a separate leather case.
The design itself is the same as by the Pro Line. The only difference is the color. The synthetics came along in a nice metallic red.
Of course you will find that little hole also here on the back of the cap
I only use them for metallic paint to protect my sable hair brushes!
Only thing I'm not quite happy about is that there are only size 1 to 3 available but I would like to have a smaller one for metal details. But this is total my personal opinion.
As well I will show you now the tips of my synthetics.

Tip of size 3 brush
My conclusion to the Ichiban Synthetic set
This is a nice set if you looking for some money saving synthetic brushes in great quality!
I'm just a little bit disappointed that there is no size 0 synthetic in the set.
But anyway I'm overall very happy with the Ichiban Series Brushes from top quality with a handy cap feature and a sexy look.
I can only recommend to make your own mind about it.
